Has anybody upgraded RDS for DOORS 9.x from RDS version 5.2 to 5.2.1 ? RDS is running in corporate mode. The upgrade documentation suggests 2 possible approaches 1. directly connect new and old servers to migrate user data 2. Use XML files to migrate data The upgrade doco is not precise about differences between versions. With this upgrade being such a minor point version is there possibly easier migration paths than between major versions? The RDS installation also requires Tivoli Directory Server to be installed first but the doco does not seem to contain precise version dependency tables. Scratch that. I found version tables here. it requires Java:- HP Java SDK/JRE/JDK IBM Runtime Environment, Java Technology Edition Sun Java SDK/JRE/JDK
LDAP:- DB2 Advanced Enterprise Server Edition 9.7 IBM Global Security Kit (GSKit) 8.0 Tivoli Directory Server 6.3 FP17
The sequence of installation is not specified unless the listing sequence is also the installation sequence? |
